MASKS, COVID-19'S IMPACT ON CROSS-CULTURE

We at Pathways for Cross-cultural Understanding are proud to present our first project on a very relevant topic these days: the coronavirus. As many of you probably have noticed, the response to the coronavirus has been different from country to country and culture to culture. One of the biggest differences has been individuals’ initiatives to wear masks.

With this in mind, our first Cross-culture project will revolve around wearing masks. Wearing them, making them, decorating them. We’ll make this first project easy for you, so all you have to do is tell us: how do you feel when you wear a mask? You’d be surprised at the different answers people give to this question, so we would love to hear your thoughts! We believe that sharing our intentions behind mask-wearing will allow us to understand each other better.

To enter the contest, post a response to this message telling us how you feel when you wear a mask. Also, include a picture of you wearing your mask. Now, this is a contest so that means we will have to pick a winner. We will pick the entrant with the best mask picture and story, which will then be hosted on our website.

Please share your mask story and picture with us by August 31,2020. Our directors and advisory council will pick the winners.
