About the Event

Join us as we explore the theme of "belonging" through the lens of South Korean and American cultures. This workshop will delve into the norms, practices, structures, hopes, and dreams of people in both countries through a comparative analysis of cultural norms in South Korean & the US.

This one-day online workshop is open to K-12 educators along with school and district administrators in the U.S. and will feature presentations on comparisons between the U.S. and South Korea through the lens of the cross-cultural perspective. During this workshop, excellent K-12 teachers will share their unique cross-cultural knowledge focusing on gender, race, and ethnicity among other categories of "belonging". Strategic lesson plans for teaching cross-cultural understanding in the classroom will be shared after the workshop.

Other benefits include receiving up to $70 worth of educational & cultural materials, three (3) contact hours, and a collection of lesson plans created by participants of this workshop.

Please note that the fee to participate is $20 and can be paid online using PayPal by September 28, 2024.
