I recently traveled from Pennsylvania to California with one of my daughters, to help her move into an apartment and start a new job. I was worried about traveling through multiple airports during a pandemic, but I listened to the advice I heard from scientists about washing our hands frequently, practicing social distancing, and wearing masks. One of my other daughters, who works in a lab, was able to get some KN95 masks for us to use on the trip. I knew that these masks would be the best kind of protection we could have while traveling. Wearing the masks made me feel safe and secure about having to be in busy public spaces. I felt good knowing that we were following the guidelines of scientists to protect others and ourselves.
